  13. I have not seen Bill in 30 years, and I am not even sure if he would have remembered me, but I was saddened and stunned to hear of his passing. He was always so kind and nice back in school, always good for a laugh. I am so glad to know that he had a good life with his family. Rest in peace, Bill, and bless Lisa and her family.

  14. I am so sorry to hear the news that Bill had passed away. I was the little pesky sister always wanting to hang out with him and my brother Tyler. So sad to have lost both of them so young. I am sure they are up in Heaven fishing and laughing a lot. No words can express the sympathy I wish to give you Lisa, Conor, Jeff and the rest of the Voelz family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  15. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. During this sad time, I wanted to share a story that may make you smile. I think that’s what he would want you to do, remember him with a smile! Years ago, we lived across the street from the Guys. I always baby sat these two ornery kids. One day, while going into the nursery to get a diaper for changing, the older little boy closed the door & locked me in the nursery. The family had reversed the handle. I started to panic because of their ages, and on the other side of the door I could only hear the two ornery kids laughing. I looked outside & saw Bill across the street in his driveway. I quickly opened the window and started yelling for him. He almost got inside his front door before hearing me. While exchanging words (yelling) across the street, he began getting closer to rescue me. Bill was laughing all the way to the front door. Thank goodness the front door wasn’t locked. I heard Bill yell, he opened the door to the nursery and while grossed out and laughing, he ran back out the front door. The older brother had taken the poop from his little brothers diaper, and was throwing it all over the place. Both of the children were laughing just as hard as Bill was! I didn’t laugh about this for a very long time. I can’t imagine what would have happened if he hadn’t been there to let me out of that room! I had reconnected with Tom & Bill on facebook where I reminded him of the story. What a great sense of humor he had & he will be missed by so many! God bless!

  16. Lisa, My thoughts and prayers are with you, your son and entire Voelz family. Bill was such a nice guy and always had a smile on his face that light up the room. May God bless you and bring you peace during this time.

  17. Lisa and family, I can’t begin to tell you how sorry I am. I have always cared about Bill and Jeff. They have always been very kind to me. I know nothing I say will help, because I’m trying to deal with loosing my Mom last year. I will pray for you daily for God to comfort you and give you peace. Reach out to God, he will never let you down. Blessings to all of you in this very difficult time.

  18. Lisa & Family You will be in our prayers and we know God will bless you with courage to bear the sorrow you feel.

  19. Jeff, Gloria, Tony, Tommy, Lisa, and all children: You could not have selected a better photo for Billy’s posting, as this is exactly how we’ll always remember him–bright eyed with a huge smile. Such a sweet, kind, man. We will miss him. We are so sorry that his time came too soon.

  20. Sorry for your loss Lisa, May God bless you and Connor and all the families. He was a Great man. Blesings, Rachel

  21. We hope you find peace and comfort in the support of your friends and family during this most difficult time. God Bless.

  22. Our deepest, deepest sympathy to all of you. Stuart and I are so sad to hear of Bills’ passing. May you feel our hugs, love and extra strength right now. This is a perfect picture of Bill. A smile from him always puts a smile on us.

  23. All of our thoughts and prayers are with you Lisa, Conor, Jeff, Glo, Tony, Angie, Tom and Jennifer. Thank you Bill for being a part of our company family.

  24. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. My daughter shared Bill’s birthday and her maiden name. I often heard Miss Anna talk about Ted’s wonderful son-in-law and wish I had got the chance to meet him. The pictures always showed such a loving family. God bless you all during such a trying time.

  25. Forever and Always Why are you crying? Do you think that I’m gone? I haven’t left you. I’m where I belong. Anytime you are lonely, anytime you are sad, anytime that your heart breaks, anytime you are mad—all you have to do is close your eyes and I’ll be there with you. You see the world may take my body but that’s all it can do. When Jesus died upon the cross, he took away our sins. He conquered death so we can live in heaven where life begins. Don’t stop the memory of the time we shared. It’s God’s way to help you through. Take time to laugh when life gets hard, the way we used to do! A smell? A touch? The morning sun? They all will help you see. I’m still there. I never left. Now smile once more for me. Live each day. Keep looking up. My life was not in vain. I finished the task I was born to do. That’s why I couldn’t remain. Until I see you— I love you forever and always. Sue Carlson

  26. Lisa, I’m sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. All of my memories of Bill and your family are great. He was a good man and will be missed by all. My heart goes out to you and your family.

  27. Bill Voelz was the best neighbor and friend anyone could ever have. His big heart, big laughter and big smile always made us glad he was our friend. Bill will be a legend to everyone who knew him.

  28. I haven’t seen Bill in a long time but darn it if that great smile has never changed. Lisa, Jeff, Gloria, Tony, and Tom. Sorry I couldn’t make it on an early enough filght to be there but all of you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers God Bless Jeff
