William "Gordon" Wilson October 11, 1916 - April 08, 2008 William Gordon Wilson, 91, of Washington Place died at 11:11 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Wilson was former owner of Wilson Olds Cadillac. He was a member of First Christian Church and St. Johns Masonic Lodge No. 20 and a charter member of Bartholomew County High Twelve Club. Born in Hart County, Ky., Oct. 11, 1916, Mr. Wilson was the son of Robert Lewis and Gladys Lawson Wilson. He married Janet Lee Faurote Dec. 31, 1939. Survivors include sons, William Robert (Mary Ellen) Wilson of Lawrenceburg and Lew (Bettie) Wilson of Columbus; daughters, Linda Lee (Janos) Horvath of Budapest, Hungary, and Patricia Marie (Carl) Wilson Rutz of Anchorage, Alaska; a son-in-law, Thomas Bishop of Phoenix, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on Oct. 15, 2004; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Bishop; and two brothers. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.
