William "Logie" Burris

William “Logie” Burris, 66, of Hope, passed away at 10:30 p.m., March 29, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Logie was born September 26, 1954 in Columbia, Kentucky to Finnis and Lou Ann (Cowan) Burris.
Logie loved racing and fishing, playing pool and card games. He enjoyed going to the casino but most of all he cherished spending time with his family.
The funeral will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday April 6, 2021 at the Jewell ~ Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Denton officiating. Calling will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, April 5, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery located in Edinburgh.
Memorials may be made to the Jewell ~ Rittman Family Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
Logie is survived by his wife, Mary Burris; son, Tommy Burris of Spokane, Washington; grandchildren, Macy Burris and Devin Burris; sister, Geneva Hadley, Jean Eakle, Bertha (Harold) Bailey and Faye King; as well as a caretaker, Lisa Burton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Burris and sister, Wanda Roberts
Services were entrusted to the Jewell ~ Rittman Family Funeral Home.

I did not know Logie had passed away. No one informed me. If I had known and was able, I would have come. Loved LOGIE.
