William Montgomery "Monty" Hall, a loving and faith-filled man known for his gentle demeanor, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, in Columbus, Indiana, at the age of 80. Born in Price, Kentucky on October 13, 1944, Monty was a cherished member of the community throughout his life. Monty's commitment and affection for his family were evident in every aspect of his life. He shared over six decades of marriage with his wife, Peggy Hall, whom he married on March 11, 1964. He remained a supportive and guiding light to his sons, Todd and Chris Hall, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness. Monty's siblings, Fred Hall, Noel Hall, and Annette Murch, will remember him fondly as the cornerstone of their family. He is preceded in death by his brother Dale Hall. In remembrance of Monty, we reflect on the wisdom of Mother Teresa, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”. Monty's life was a testament to the power of love and gentle strength, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
