Wilma E. Combest October 15, 1924 - September 17, 2006 Wilma E. Combest, 81, of Eighth Street, Columbus, Ind., died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006 at her home. Wilma lived her early life in Columbia, Ky. before moving to Columbus, Ind. in 1964. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and playing bingo. Wilma was of Methodist faith. Mr. Combest was born October 15, 1924 in Columbia, Ky., the daughter of James Burton and Zora Burns Burton. She married Bill P. Combest in 1947. Survivors include sons, Jackie (Jerry) Combest and Billy Joe (Barbara) Combest, both of Columbus, Ind.; daughters, Linda (Winfred Putt) Barnsfather, Diane (Dale) Shuffitt and Paula (Dale) Hayford, all of Columbus, and Sheila (Mike) Bowling of Brown County; grandchildren, Tina (John) Stephens, Shawn (Brandi) Combest, Scott (Jennifer) Combest, Melissa (Brad) Little, Toby (Heather) Combest, Travis Combest, Megan (Frank) Rains, Michelle (Greg) Davidson, Lisa Hayford, Jamey Combest, Shane (Jenni) Combest and Erica Bowling; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rissie Burton of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
