Tamara Jo Shireman

Tamara (Tammy) Jo Shireman, 54, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on August 30th, 2026 with the love of her life, Linc Allen. Born on January 22, 1972, in Columbus Indiana, Tammy was the firstborn of Robert and Jan Shireman.

Tammy graduated from South Decatur High School and went on to obtain her degree in Veterinary Science from Purdue University. After college she held a career as a veterinary technician for many years. Tammy was good at whatever job she did. She worked as a vet tech for over 20 years, worked on the family dairy farm, GTI Industries and finally, working as a test barn attendant with horses at Indiana Horseshoe Casino.

Tammy’s first love was animals, many people would often refer to her as snow white or Ellie Mae Clampet. There wasn’t a mouse, squirrel, bird, or any creature that she wouldn’t try to save if it needed help. Tammy carried a natural sunshine wherever she went, and her love for her daughter and grandchildren was the brightest part of her world. A lover of pink, sparkles, flowers, antiques, and all things bright. Tammy had a knack for leaving things better and more beautiful than she found them. She never let life get too serious, Tammy was fun, light hearted, and so strong. She had an extraordinary work ethic from her time growing up on the family farm and never backed away from hard work or getting dirty. She handled life with grace and grit. She knew there was a time to be tough but also had a gentle, soft side to those who were blessed to do life alongside her. Tammy loved Linc, and they were engaged to be married. They joked that they would get married in the year 2040. They spent many weekends at the horsetrack and going jeeping together. Tammy loved her jeep named Rebel Soul and its bright green color matched her bright and bubbly personality. To know Tammy, was to love Tammy. She leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished and never forgotten.

Tammy is survived by her daughter Breanna (Kyle) Conwell, her grandchildren Emi, Clay, and Bo Conwell, her parents Robert (Jan) Shireman, and her brothers Kyle and Craig Shireman; grandmother, Jean Fiesbeck.

Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents Ray and Emily Shireman and Shorty Fiesbeck.

Honoring her wishes, the family will celebrate her life privately. Thank you for keeping them in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
