March 30, 2026

Born in: Columbus, Indiana
Resided in: Solsberry, Indiana

Vickie Jo Jewell Ricco, 53, Solsberry, formerly of Columbus, passed away after a brief illness on March 30, 2026. Vickie was born on September 26, 1972, in Columbus, to William “Boots” Jewell, who survives, and the late Jo Ann (Fuel) Jewell. Vickie married her best friend and love of her life, Anthony L. Ricco, on July 6, 2013, and he survives.

Vickie graduated from Columbus North High School and most recently was the owner and operator of Jewell’s Goldendoodles and co-owner of Let’s Roll Paint & Construction. Through her breeding business, she was a well-known and respected breeder of goldendoodles, sending the pups throughout the country. She was an avid and talented photographer and loved to spend time refreshing her spirit in the Smokey Mountains. It is difficult to think about Vickie without thinking of her love for the Christmas season. She began Christmas shopping every July and began plans for elaborate and beautiful holiday decorating. She loved to create wonderful memories for her family around her favorite holiday.

Vickie’s most cherished vocation was that of wife, mother, and nana. Her family was everything to Vickie, and she was quite literally their rock. She was a true angel to so many lives that she touched. She will be forever remembered for her generosity, beauty, and caring spirit.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Price and a grandson, Weston Jewell.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony; father, William “Boots” Jewell; children, Brittany Price-Walden, Meagan (Brandon) Westbrook, Coleman Jewell, Lillian Ricco, Landon Ricco, Dolly Ricco, Billie Ricco, Hunter Ricco, Shaylynn Ricco, Amanda Prevo, and Anthony Prevo; siblings, Bobby (Deedee) Jewell, Becky (Jimmy) Brown, Dale Jewell, and Tina Jewell; and her eleven adored grandchildren.
