Guestbook

  1. Wilbert was one of the sweetest gentle men I know and will forever be in the hearts a
    Of many.

  2. Wilbert had the best personality, always so pleasant to talk with. He will be missed by all of us at the Veterans office and by the drivers who transported him to his VA medical appointments.

  3. Always on THE GO! At 93 still gardening. Going on his walks. Most of all was always there for anyone in need. Walking my dog, Stella and I would stop for a visit always had a twinkle in his eye and advice for my problems. Our neighborhood will miss this wonderful man.

    • Your family has my condolences. Every time I had the chance to see him he always had a smile on his face and was just a happy person. May he rest in peace and I hope the reunion with those in heaven is a great one. Especially with his brother who was my grandfather (Paw).

  4. The back pew will never be the same without Wilbert. Our deepest condolences to Shirley and the family. He will be missed.

  5. What a wonderful gentlemen. We enjoyed listening to his stories of his service to our country . We thank him for that and for his devotion to the church and especially to his family and his wonderful wife Shirley.. They set the bar high for marriage and love .. We will miss his smile and friendly welcome.

  6. Wilbert was a sweet, kind, gentle, humble man with a cheerful spirit. I think he is best described in a conversation that I had with his son, Jeff as I was going on and on about how wonderful Wilbert was. Then Jeff responded, yeah, he’s “Cool.” And I agreed, exactly, he sure was. I was grateful and blessed to have known him.
